Join Alex & Myla for 4 hours of workshops to learn the foundations of Brazilian Zouk Head Movement! Designed to be taken together, these workshops will teach you how to begin using head movements in your dance in a safe and comfortable manner. 2-4pm: Fundamentals This workshop will cover the basic concepts of head movement (such as active/passive and linear/circular movements) and a brief review of some relevant Zouk concepts. We will then cover how to apply head movement within basic Zouk movements 4:30-6:30pm: Variations This workshop will progress into more complex head movement variations, including head movement within turns and transitioning into, out of, and between different head movements in a comfortable and safe manner.
