Our mission
We’re dancers who got tired of watching the community scatter across WhatsApp groups and Facebook pages. So we built Duo.
Three years in, we’re still here. Still listening, still improving, still growing with you. We’ve danced for a combined 50+ years across dozens of countries. We know what it feels like to land in a new city and not know where to dance. We know what it’s like to pour everything into an event that half your audience never heard about. We built this because we lived it.
We genuinely believe we can change the dance world and help it grow the right way. This is bigger than an app. And we’re in it for the long run.
Join us.
No dancer, event, or community should be invisible.
Across cultures, ages, religions, and borders. That’s worth protecting.
We’re not building a tool. We’re building the place where the global dance world finally comes together.
We build alongside the people we serve, not above them.

I’ve been dancing since I was eighteen. But it wasn’t until I moved to Brazil that everything changed.
I was dancing twelve, fourteen hours a week at a latin dance school, completely lost in it. Every time I wanted to find a social or an event outside of class, I hit the same wall. No website. No list. Nothing. I’d ask around, follow chains of word of mouth, and more often than not I’d find out too late. People would say: “Oh, last night was incredible, there was this amazing social.” And you’d think: why didn’t I know?
And it wasn’t just dancers. Teachers who had so much to give, but no way to be found. Organizers who poured everything into an event, and half their audience never heard about it. Everyone working so hard, but invisible to each other.
The dance world deserves to exist. All of it. Not just the people who already know the right person.
For seven years, I carried that question. I danced. I taught. I competed. I organized events. I wanted to understand this world from every angle before I tried to change anything.
Then I left corporate. Exhausted, but finally ready.
A friend looked at me and said: “Chantal, that app you always talk about, the one for dancers, it’s such a good idea. Why aren’t you building it?”
So I started. It wasn’t easy. Finding someone to build something this ambitious with you, really build it, with no guarantees, no salary, just belief, is harder than it sounds. Three co-founders who didn’t work out. Then I met Kirill. We matched instantly.
And then something unexpected happened. Organizers started reaching out. Teachers. Dancers from countries I’d never been to. All saying the same thing: “I’ve been waiting for this.”
We’re not here to reinvent dance. We’re here because we love it too much to watch it stay this fragmented. And we’re building this with you.

A team of superheroes who believe the dance world deserves better 💛
