Paris Zouk Dreams is an evening dedicated to Brazilian Zouk, music and connection, featuring a special guest from Paris, Jean-Martin Mabileau. Meet the Instructor Originally from France, Jean-Martin has been teaching and performing Brazilian Zouk internationally since 2018. His dance journey has taken him across Europe and to São Paulo, Brazil, where he trained in Brazilian Zouk and immersed himself in the culture and movement that shaped his dance. Today, Jean-Martin is based largely in Thailand, where he is one of the co organizers of the well known Zouk Island event. He is also the Head DJ and a Zouk instructor there. Jean-Martin is a remarkable DJ with his own distinctive style and a strong musical taste. As a talented musician himself, he has a deep connection to music that naturally influences the way he dances, teaches and connects with people on the dance floor. MAC certified and a graduate of the Biomecadanse program, Jean-Martin combines biomechanics, musicality and connection to help dancers understand their bodies, move with greater comfort and develop a more expressive and connected dance. His teaching goes beyond technique. He creates space to listen, feel, connect and discover, both with your partner and with yourself.
