Curious about Lambada, but not sure it’s for you? If you dance Brazilian Zouk, this is a chance to explore some of its roots and shared movement foundations in a welcoming, progressive way. Across three days, you’ll get to know the structures behind the dance: how we move through space, connect with a partner, redirect momentum and bring movement to life. Exploring these ideas through Lambada can give you fresh ways to understand your dancing and bring new possibilities back into your Zouk. Whether you already dance Lambada or you’re simply curious, come along and explore with us. Friday begins with the foundations: geometry, essential structures and concepts. Saturday, we build on those ideas through connection, shared axes, circular movement and redirected momentum. Sunday brings in texture, play and integration, so the structures can become more creative, spontaneous and free. The aim isn’t to collect more moves. It’s to understand the dance more deeply, so you can move with greater confidence, connection and freedom.
